Answer: The HS-Tarm Multi-Heat comes in three sizes ranging from 51,200 Btu’s/hr to 146,700 Btu’s/hr. For large residential, industrial, commercial, institutional, or agricultural needs multiple boilers can be cascaded together for a maximum of 440,000 Btu’s/hr.

Question: Can the HS-Tarm Multi-Heat Boiler burn wood chips?

Answer: The Multi-Heat can only burn corn and woodpellets, wood chips are not a fuel option at this time.

Question: How much fuel can the HS-Tarm Multi-Heat Boiler hold?

Answer: Typically the HS-Tarm Multi-Heat Boiler holds about 3-7 days of fuel. The hopper on the Multi-Heat 1.5 can hold approx. 7 40 lb bags of wood pellet fuel or 5 bushels of corn. The HS-Tarm Multi-Heat 2.5 and 4.0 have a hopper capacity of about 12 40 lb bags of wood pellets and 10 bushels of corn.

Question: How easy is it to clean and remove ash from the HS-Tarm Multi-Heat Boiler?

Answer: Cleaning can easily be accomplished with easy front access to horizontal heat exchanger tubes and combustion chamber.

Answer: No, we feel that automatic ignition is not necessary. Once the boiler is easily started, there is little need to re-ignite.

Answer: The HS-Tarm Multi-Heat has an electronic control unit that continuously controls the flow of fuel and air for proper combustion. The output changes between “high”’ “low”, and “stand-by” to match heating loads.
